Newfoundland Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. oleo
    2 1/2 c. sugar
    6 eggs
    3 c. flour
    1/4 c. vanilla
    1 lb. whole walnuts
    1 box golden raisins
    1 c. candied cherries (1/2 red and 1/2 green)
    1 c. flour
Preparation
    Cream oleo and sugar well.
    Add eggs one at a time, mixing well each time.
    Add flour and vanilla.
    In another large bowl mix walnuts, raisins, candied cherries and flour.
    Toss together and add to first mixture, mix well.
    Pour into 4 greased loaf pans so it won't be high.
    Bake at 275\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours or until done. Insert pick to see if done.
    Wrap in foil when cool and refrigerate.
    Keeps well.
    Also can be frozen.
