Ingredients

1/4 c. butter
1 c. sugar
1 egg
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. persimmon pulp
1/2 tsp. soda
1 c. sweet milk
1 c. flour
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Cream butter and sugar.
Add egg and salt. Dissolve soda in 1/4 of persimmon pulp, then add all persimmon to creamed mixture. Add milk and flour alternately.
Add vanilla.
Bake in 350\u00b0 oven for approximately 1 hour.
