Baby Ruth Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. corn syrup
    1 3/4 c. crunchy peanut butter
    5 c. Special K cereal
    1 (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
    3/4 c. plain peanut butter
Preparation
    Bring sugar and corn syrup to a boil.
    Remove from stove and add crunchy peanut butter.
    Blend well.
    Add cereal, stirring to coat.
    Pour into buttered 9 x 13 dish.
    Melt chips and 3/4 cup plain peanut butter, stir until smooth.
    Spread over cereal mixture.
    Refrigerate until cool.
    Cut into squares.
