Linguini With Clam Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. linguini, cooked and drained
    1 to 2 cloves garlic, minced
    2 Tbsp. oil
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1 (8 oz.) bottle clam juice
    1 (10 oz.) can baby whole clams
    1/2 c. Parmesan or Romano cheese, grated
    1 tsp. parsley
    pepper to taste
Preparation
    Cook and drain the linguini.
    In large frying pan, saute garlic in oil and butter (slightly), just so oil mixture is flavored (but do not brown garlic).
    Add clam juice and allow to simmer for 5 minutes.
    Add the clams and allow to simmer for an additional 5 minutes.
    Add pasta, parsley and pepper, tossing lightly to combine all ingredients.
    Add the cheese, toss lightly to combine all ingredients.
    Simmer 5 to 10 minutes, to allow pasta to absorb all the flavors and heat everything.
    Serve with extra cheese.
