Layered Green Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 small head lettuce, finely shredded
    1 c. onion, chopped
    2 stalks celery, finely chopped
    1 can sliced water chestnuts
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. fresh mushrooms, sliced
    1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen green peas
    2 c. mayonnaise
    1 tsp. sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. black pepper
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. grated Mozzarella cheese
    1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese
Preparation
    In a long Pyrex dish, layer in order given lettuce through green peas.
    Spread mayonnaise on top.
    Mix together sugar, salt and black pepper; sprinkle over mayonnaise.
    Next, sprinkle Mozzarella cheese over mayonnaise.
    Last, top with grated Parmesan cheese.
