Peanut Butter Fudge - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    1 c. milk
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. butter or oleo
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. peanut butter
Preparation
    Heat and stir over medium heat until sugar dissolves and mixture comes to a boil.
    Then cook to soft ball stage (238\u00b0), stirring only if necessary.
    Remove from heat.
    Add butter, peanut butter and vanilla.
    Stir until mixed well, then let set until it cools to 110\u00b0 without stirring.
    Beat until mixture begins to hold its shape. Pour into buttered dish.
    Cut when cool.
