Shrimp Etouffee - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 lb. shrimp
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1 can tomato sauce
    1 c. chopped parsley and green onions
    season to taste or use Tony's seasoning
    1 cooking spoon oil
    1 clove garlic
    1 Tbsp. flour
Preparation
    Heat oil in thick iron pot.
    Add shrimp and cook only until they turn pink.
    Add tomato sauce, can of water, onion, garlic and seasoning to taste.
    Add onion tops and parsley.
    Cook very slowly, covered, for 45 to 50 minutes.
    Add a tablespoon of flour mixed with a small amount of cold water to gravy before serving. Serve over hot cooked rice.
    Approximately 6 servings.
