Oreo Ice Cream Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    28 oz. pkg. Oreos, crumbled
    2 sticks oleo, divided
    1/2 gal. vanilla ice cream
    1 small pkg. German sweet chocolate
    1 short can Pet milk
    1/3 c. sugar
    1 large Cool Whip
Preparation
    Soften ice cream (about 15 minutes).
    Mix crumbled Oreos with 1 stick butter and press into bottom of 10-inch spring-form pan. Freeze 15 minutes.
    Spread ice cream over crust and return to freezer.
    In a small pan, combine butter, sugar, chocolate and Pet milk.
    Boil 3 minutes.
    Cool and pour over ice cream layer; freeze.
    Smooth Cool Whip over top of this; freeze.
    Garnish with more cookies or melted Hershey bar drizzled over the top.
    Thaw a few minutes; unmold and serve.
