Red Bean Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 c. red kidney beans
    1 celery stalk, diced
    1 onion, diced
    1 carrot, diced
    4 c. water
    salt and pepper to taste
    croutons (optional)
Preparation
    Boil all ingredients with or without soup bone or bacon (for added flavor).
    Add seasonings.
    Serve with croutons.
    Makes 6 servings.
