Gingerbread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. molasses
4 eggs
1 stick butter
1 c. sugar
4 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
4 Tbsp. ginger
1 Tbsp. allspice
Preparation

Preheat oven to 375\u00b0.
Melt molasses and butter together; stir in sugar until dissolved.
Cool.
Mix with a wooden spoon flour, baking powder, spices and eggs.
Add to cooled mixture, beating well.
Pour into an 8 x 8-inch pan and bake 50 to 60 minutes.
