Banana-Walnut Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. margarine
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    4 medium bananas, mashed
    2 eggs, well beaten
    2 c. sifted all-purpose flour
    3/4 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. soda
    1/2 c. buttermilk
    3/4 c. chopped walnuts or pecans
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar thoroughly.
    Blend in bananas, eggs and vanilla.
    Sift flour, soda and salt together.
    Stir this into banana mixture.
    Alternate with buttermilk.
    Add nuts and mix well. Pour into a greased and floured loaf pan.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
