Bread Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. scalded milk
    4 c. crumbled bread
    6 beaten eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 Tbsp. melted butter
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. raisins
    1 c. sugar
Preparation
    Scald milk.
    Add bread and let soak 5 minutes.
    Beat eggs in large bowl.
    Mix butter, salt and sugar.
    Pour into eggs and mix. Add vanilla, raisins, bread and milk.
    Blend.
    Pour into greased 2-quart baking dish.
    Set dish in another pan with 1 to 2 inches water.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour until knife inserted comes out clean.
