Sausage-Egg Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    12 oz. pkg. link sausage, cut into 1/4-inch slices
    8 slices sandwich bread, cut into 1-inch pieces
    2 c. shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
    2 1/2 c. milk, divided
    6 large eggs, lightly beaten
    3/4 tsp. dry mustard
    1/2 tsp. marjoram
    1/2 tsp. basil
    1 can cream of mushroom soup, undiluted
Preparation
    Brown sausage in skillet, drain well.
    Set aside.
    Place bread cubes in 13 x 9-inch greased dish.
    Top bread cubes with sausage and cheese.
    Combine 2 cups milk and next 4 ingredients in a large bowl and pour over bread mixture.
    Cover and chill 8 hours. Combine soup with remaining 1/2 cup milk and pour over casserole. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
    Serve immediately.
    Serves 8.
