4 Layer Chocolate Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 stick melted butter or margarine
    1 c. all-purpose flour
    1 c. chopped pecans
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
    1 c. confectioners sugar
    1 (12 oz.) container Cool Whip
    2 (6 oz.) pkg. instant chocolate pudding
Preparation
    Mix together first 3 ingredients and press into a 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Bake at 300\u00b0 for 20 to 25 minutes.
    Cool.
    Beat cream cheese and confectioners sugar together and fold in 1 cup of Cool Whip. Spread this on cooled crust.
    Make pudding according to package directions except use 1/2 cup less milk than called for.
    Pour over cream cheese mixture.
    Spread remaining Cool Whip over chocolate layer.
    May grate chocolate to sprinkle on top.
    Makes 20 to 24 squares.
