1 c. sugar
1 c. packed brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. coconut
1 c. shortening
2 eggs
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 c. oats
1 c. Rice Krispies
Preparation

Cream the sugar, shortening and packed brown sugar.
Add eggs and vanilla.
Add flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt. Stir in oats, coconut and Rice Krispies.
Roll into balls and bake at 350\u00b0 for 8 minutes.
Let stand on cookie sheet until firm. Cool on rack.
