Chicken And Dressing - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 hen
    3 qt. water
    2 tsp. salt
    2 qt. corn bread, crumbled
    3 to 4 slices white bread (heels)
    1 Tbsp. rubbed sage
    1/4 tsp. black pepper
    1 medium onion, chopped
    2 beaten eggs
    1 c. celery, chopped
Preparation
    Boil the hen in the water and salt until tender, about 3 to 4 hours.
    (Save broth for mixing dressing.)
    Mix crumbled bread in a large bowl with broth to resemble unbaked corn bread; don't leave it too dry.
    Add water or *canned broth, if needed. Pour into large baking pan and bake at 450\u00b0 for 1 hour or until done.
