German Potato Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 lb. potatoes
    1 medium onion
    salt
    pepper
    2 c. sugar
    1 c. vinegar
    1 c. water
    1 lb. bacon
    2 Tbsp. flour
Preparation
    Wash and boil potatoes.
    Cool, then peel. Dice potatoes and onion into large casserole dish. Cut up bacon into small pieces and fry. Drain excessive drippings. Thicken remaining with 2 rounded tablespoonfuls of flour.
    Add to potatoes.
    Bring to a boil on stovetop the sugar, vinegar, water, salt and pepper.
    Pour liquid ingredients over the potatoes.
    Bake for 1 1/2 hours at 350\u00b0.
