Brown Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. uncooked white rice
    2 sticks margarine
    2 cans beef consomme soup
    1 large onion, chopped
    8 oz. can mushrooms
Preparation
    Melt butter in frying pan (cast-iron, better).
    Add onions and rice and saute until slightly brown.
    Transfer to 9 x 9 x 2-inch baking dish.
    Add beef consomme soup and mushrooms.
    Cover and bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes to 1 hour until liquid is gone.
