*Pat Tregoning'S Peach Parfait Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (3 oz.) pkg. lemon jello
    1 1/4 c. boiling water
    1 pt. vanilla ice cream
    1/4 tsp. almond extract
    1/4 c. sugar
    2 c. chopped, fresh or canned peaches
    9-inch baked pie shell
Preparation
    Add boiling water to jello.
    Stir until dissolved.
    Break up ice cream and stir into jello.
    Chill for 10 minutes.
    Add peaches, sugar and almond extract to jello mixture.
    Refrigerate for 2 hours.
    Pour into baked 9-inch pie shell.
    Top with whipped cream and chopped pecans.
