Hamburger Barley Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. lean ground beef
    16 oz. tomatoes
    6 oz. tomato juice
    7 c. water
    1/2 to 1 lb. green beans
    1 bell pepper
    1 c. celery, chopped
    1/4 c. celery (green tops)
    2 carrots, sliced
    2 potatoes, sliced
    1/2 c. barley
    2 Tbsp. light soy sauce
    1 bay leaf
    1/2 tsp. thyme
    1 tsp. garlic
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Combine all ingredients in very large pan.
    Cook for 45 minutes.
    Great to freeze.
