Betty'S Boston Baked Beans - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 lb. bacon
1 c. finely chopped onion
1/2 c. dark brown sugar
1/2 c. ketchup
1/4 c. bourbon
4 (16 oz.) cans pork and beans
Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
Chop bacon and place in a heavy bottom skillet over medium heat.
Cook until partly crisp.
Add chopped onions.
Continue cooking, stirring occasionally until onions are limp and transparent.
Stir in brown sugar, ketchup and bourbon.
Add beans.
Mix well.
Put in beanpot.
Bake 1 1/2 hours at 350\u00b0. Serves 8 to 10.
