Ingredients

1 c. brown sugar
1 c. white sugar
1 c. margarine (not light)
1 c. Rice Krispies
1 c. oatmeal
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 c. chopped nuts (optional)
Preparation

Combine sugars, margarine and egg.
Add vanilla.
Mix flour with baking powder and baking soda.
Add dry mixture to creamed sugar mix.
Stir in oatmeal, then Rice Krispies.
Add nuts, if desired.
Drop by teaspoon onto ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 8 to 10 minutes.
