Chicken Almondine - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 lb. fresh mushrooms
    1/3 c. green pepper
    4 Tbsp. butter
    1/3 c. flour
    2 c. chicken broth
    1 c. light cream
    1/8 tsp. nutmeg
    1 tsp. salt and pepper
    2 c. chopped, cooked chicken
    3 Tbsp. sherry wine
    1/3 c. pimentos
    1/2 c. toasted almonds
Preparation
    Saute peppers and mushrooms in butter 5 minutes.
    Add flour and blend.
    Add broth, cream, seasonings and chicken.
    Stir until smooth.
    Add sherry and pimento.
    Serve in patty shells.
    Sprinkle with almonds.
    (I use toast if patty shells are not available.) Serves 6.
