Chili Tomato Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 lb. onions
    4 c. bell pepper
    1/2 box pickling spice, tied up
    2 1/2 lb. sugar
    1 qt. vinegar
    dish pan of ripe tomatoes
    salt to taste
    hot pepper to taste
Preparation
    Chop tomatoes, onions, peppers; salt and pepper to taste. Heat vinegar; add sugar and spices.
    Stir well until melted.
    Add chopped food and cook until tender, about 2 hours.
    Makes 7 quarts.
