Scallops Parisienne - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3/4 lb. scallops
1/2 c. white wine
1 c. water
3 sprigs parsley
1/2 bay leaf
6 peppercorns
Preparation

If using sea scallops, cut into 2 or 3 pieces.
In saucepan, combine scallops with wine, water, herbs and peppercorns.
Simmer 2 to 3 minutes.
Strain, reserving liquid (about 1 1/2 cups).
