Roast Turkey In Foil - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (12 lb.) turkey
    salt to taste
    freshly ground pepper to taste
    butter
    1 recipe stuffing
    1/4 c. dry white wine
    1/4 c. brandy
    1 tsp. thyme
    1 tsp. basil
Preparation
    Rub turkey cavity with salt and pepper; rub skin with butter. Fill turkey loosely with stuffing.
    Place turkey on large sheet of foil in roasting pan.
    Combine wine, brandy, thyme and basil; mix well.
    Pour over turkey; seal foil tightly.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 3 hours and 30 minutes; fold foil back.
    Bake for 30 minutes longer or until turkey is browned.
