Date Pecan Balls - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. soft butter or margarine
1/2 c. sugar
2 tsp. vanilla
2 c. sifted flour
2 c. ground pecans
1 c. dates, chopped
Preparation

Cream butter and sugar.
Add vanilla and mix.
Add flour and mix.
Blend in pecans and dates.
Roll teaspoonfuls of dough into balls.
Refrigerate balls for 1 to 2 hours.
Bake at 350\u00b0
on a greased cookie sheet for approximately 20 minutes.
Remove from oven and roll balls into powdered sugar.
Sprinkle them again with powdered sugar after cookies have cooled.
Store in an airtight container.
They keep well.
