Dressing Or Stuffing - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. stale bread (yeast bread or corn bread)
    celery seed or leaves to taste
    1/2 c. melted butter
    dash of powdered sage
    1 Tbsp. minced onion
    1/2 tsp. salt to taste
    1/8 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Season to taste with salt, pepper, sage and celery.
    Mix well.
    Add the melted butter.
    Moisten with water or milk or with broth from cooked fowl.
    Oysters may be added, if desired.
    Put in pan and bake in moderate oven at 350\u00b0 approximately 30 minutes.
