Salmon Spread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large (15 1/2 oz.) can salmon
    1/2 c. low-fat cottage cheese
    2 Tbsp. finely minced onion
    1 Tbsp. lemon juice
    1 tsp. prepared white horseradish
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. white pepper
Preparation
    Clean the salmon of all bones and skin.
    If you wish you may mash the bones in with the salmon for the calcium they provide. Place the cottage cheese in a strainer and place under running water to clean off all milk.
    Pat the cottage cheese curds dry with a paper towel.
    Combine all ingredients in a bowl and mash until smooth and creamy.
    Chill in the serving bowl.
    Serve with crackers, toast point, or slices of cucumber and other fresh vegetables.
