Linguine With Asparagus And Prosciutto - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 tsp. minced garlic
1/4 tsp. dried thyme
4 Tbsp. olive oil
2 Tbsp. butter
1 lb. asparagus, trimmed, peeled and sliced on the diagonal
6 oz. Prosciutto, chopped
1 lb. dried linguine
2 Tbsp. water
1 Tbsp. fresh lemon juice or to taste
4 Tbsp. grated Parmesan cheese
Preparation

In a heavy skillet, cook garlic and thyme in the oil and butter over moderate heat.
Add asparagus and Prosciutto; cook mixture, stirring for 2 minutes.
Cook linguine for 8 to 10 minutes.
Remove sauce from heat; add water, lemon juice, linguine and the Parmesan cheese.
Toss and serve.
