Pecan Cream Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 eggs, separated
    2 Tbsp. flour (heaping)
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 or 1 1/2 c. chopped pecans
    1 Tbsp. margarine
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 Tbsp. red Karo syrup
    2 c. milk
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Mix sugar and flour with enough milk to mix.
    Add egg yolks; beat well.
    Add syrup, salt, remainder of milk, margarine and pecans.
    Cook until thick.
    Let cool.
    Add vanilla; pour into baked pie shell.
    Beat egg whites with 6 tablespoons sugar and 1 teaspoon vanilla until forms a peak.
    Place on filling.
    Bake until brown.
