Steak And Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. beef round steak
    1 1/2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
    2 large onions, cut in 1/2-inch slices and separated into rings
    1 (4 oz.) can sliced mushrooms, drained (reserve liquid)
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
    1/2 c. water
    1 1/2 tsp. garlic salt
    3 c. cooked rice
Preparation
    Cut steak into thin strips.
    Brown in oil over high heat; add onions.
    Saute until tender.
    Blend soup in water, liquid from mushrooms and garlic salt.
    Pour over steak.
    Add mushrooms. Reduce heat and simmer for 1 hour.
    Serve over rice.
