Cookies Made With M&M'S - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. shortening
1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. baking powder
2 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. M&M's
1 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. salt
2 1/2 c. flour

Preparation

Cream shortening, sugar, eggs and vanilla together.
Sift together flour, soda and salt.
Add dry ingredients to creamed mixture.
Mix well.
Stir in 1/2 cup M&M's and reserve the rest for decorations.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes or until golden brown.
