Mashed Potatoes With Carrots And Cheese - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 medium potatoes, peeled and quartered
    4 large carrots, finely grated
    1 egg, beaten
    salt and pepper to taste
    1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
    2 Tbsp. water
    1 c. sour cream
    1/2 tsp. dry mustard
    3 Tbsp. butter
Preparation
    Cook potatoes until fork-tender;
    drain and mash.
    Cook carrots in water for 2 minutes or until tender.
