Beef Bourguignonne - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 medium onions, sliced
    1/2 lb. fresh mushrooms, sliced
    2 Tbsp. shortening
    2 lb. round steak, cut into 1-inch cubes
    1 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 tsp. flour
    3/4 c. beef bouillon
    1/4 tsp. marjoram
    1/2 tsp. thyme
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    1 1/2 c. red Burgundy wine
Preparation
    Cook and stir onions and mushrooms in hot shortening until tender.
    Drain on a paper towel.
    In the same skillet, brown meat, adding more shortening, if necessary.
    Remove from the heat. Sprinkle seasoning over the meat.
