Stuffed Jalapenos, Fried In Beer Batter - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. ground beef
    3 Tbsp. minced onion
    1 tsp. garlic salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1 tsp. chili powder
    1/8 tsp. paprika
    1/4 tsp. ground cumin
    1/4 c. water
    1 c. cooked rice
    1/3 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
    20 large fresh jalapenos
Preparation
    In
    a
    small
    saucepan,
    brown ground beef, stirring to crumble real small.
    Add onion, seasonings and water; bring to a boil.
    Cover; lower heat and simmer 10 minutes.
    Remove from heat and
    stir
    in rice and cheese; mix well.
    Leave stems on peppers and make a small slit at top of pepper and down side. Remove seeds and stuff with rice mixture.
    Dip in beer batter and deep fry until golden brown.
    Drain on paper towels.
