Eve Bulen'S Lemon Meringue Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 egg whites
    1 c. sugar
    1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
    4 egg yolks
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/3 c. lemon or lime juice (may add color)
Preparation
    Meringue Crust:
    Grease large pie pan.
    Beat egg whites with sugar; add cream of tartar after frothy.
    Bake 20 minutes at 275\u00b0, then turn oven to 300\u00b0 for 40 minutes.
    Let cool in oven.
