Baked Squash - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. squash
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. black pepper
    2 Tbsp. bacon drippings
    1 medium onion, sliced
Preparation
    Wash and scrape squash.
    Slice into buttered baking dish.
    Add salt and pepper.
    Stir in bacon drippings and top with sliced onion.
    Cover and bake in medium oven at 350\u00b0 to 400\u00b0 for 20 minutes.
    Remove cover and continue to bake until squash is tender and juice has cooked out.
