Marinated Onions - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 to 4 onions, sliced
    1/2 c. vinegar
    3 Tbsp. sugar
Preparation
    Soak sliced onions in cold, salty water (add ice cubes) for one hour or longer; drain off most of water.
    Add vinegar and sugar; stir well.
    Keep covered with additional ice cubes or in covered container in refrigerator until ready to serve.
