Creamy Peach Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 can Osage peaches (Raggedy Ripe), drained
1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1 (3 oz.) pkg. lemon or peach jello
1 c. hot water
1 c. peach juice
1 Tbsp. lemon juice
dash of nutmeg

Preparation

Drain peaches; reserve syrup.
Soften cream cheese.
Dissolve jello in hot water.
Add softened cream cheese and beat with rotary beater.
Add peaches, cut in pieces, lemon juice and peach syrup.
Pour into square Pyrex dish (or other container) that has been greased with mayonnaise.
Sprinkle with nutmeg, if desired. Refrigerate until set firmly.
Cut into squares to serve.
