French Onion Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 large onions (sliced thinly and sauteed in 2 Tbsp. butter until mushy)
    dash of cinnamon
    beef stock or few cubes of beef bouillon
    2 cloves garlic
    a few bay leaves
    French bread (sliced)
Preparation
    Simmer all ingredients a few minutes, add water and bring to a slow boil.
    Add Kitchen Bouquet until soup is an appetizing color. Add a few bay leaves, salt and pepper and simmer a few hours. Discard bay leaf when removing soup from heat.
    Lightly toast the French bread slices.
    Place in bottom of crock, laddle soup over and cover with the cheese of your choice.
    Place under the broiler until cheese is lightly browned.
