Rocky Road Peanut Butter Squares - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. light corn syrup
    1/2 c. sugar
    3/4 c. peanut butter
    6 c. Triples, Rice Krispies or Cheerios
    2 c. miniature marshmallows
    1/2 c. pecans or peanuts
Preparation
    Heat syrup and sugar to boiling in heavy 2-quart saucepan over medium heat, stirring constantly.
    Immediately remove from heat; stir in peanut butter until melted.
    Place cereal, stirring until well coated.
    Cool 2 minutes.
    Stir in marshmallows.
    Press mixture into an ungreased pan.
    Sprinkle with nuts.
    Cut into 2-inch squares.
    Makes 24 squares.
