Ingredients

24 to 30 Oreo cookies, crushed
1/2 c. melted butter
1/2 gal. vanilla ice cream
1 can Hershey's chocolate syrup
1 can Eagle Brand condensed milk
1/2 c. butter
1 tsp. vanilla
8 oz. Cool Whip
Preparation

Combine cookies and butter.
Press into 9 x 13-inch pan; freeze 30 minutes.
Top cookie layer with softened ice cream. Freeze 30 minutes.
Combine condensed milk, syrup and butter in saucepan.
Bring to a boil.
Simmer 5 minutes.
Cool thoroughly. Add vanilla.
Put over layer of ice cream.
Frost with Cool Whip. Serves 12 or more.
