Wild Rice Chicken Supreme - cooking recipe

1 (6 oz.) pkg. Uncle Ben's long grain and wild rice
1/4 c. butter or margarine
1/3 c. chopped onion
1/3 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
dash of pepper
1 c. evaporated milk
1 c. chicken broth
2 c. cubed cooked chicken
1/3 c. pimiento
1/3 c. parsley
1/4 c. chopped almonds
Preparation

Prepare rice and seasoning according to package.
Melt butter in large saucepan.
Add onion and cook over low heat until tender. Stir in flour, salt and pepper.
Gradually stir in milk and chicken broth.
Cook, stirring constantly, until thickened.
Stir in chicken, pimiento, parsley, almonds and cooked rice.
Place in 2-quart casserole dish.
Bake, uncovered, at 425\u00b0 for 30 minutes. Makes 6 to 8 servings.
