Oatmeal Flatbrod - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. white flour
    1/4 tsp. soda
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 c. buttermilk or sour milk
    2 c. oatmeal
    1/2 c. shortening
    1/4 c. sugar
Preparation
    Sift flour; mix with oatmeal, soda, salt and sugar.
    Cut in shortening.
    Add buttermilk.
    Divide dough in 10 parts.
    Roll each part very thin (use a knobbed rolling pin if you have one).
    Bake on an ungreased cookie sheet at 350\u00b0 for 12 to 15 minutes or until brown.
