Banana Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/3 c. shortening
    1 egg
    1/4 tsp. soda
    3/4 c. sugar
    2 c. flour
    1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1 c. ripe bananas, mashed
Preparation
    Cream shortening and sugar; beat in egg.
    Sift dry ingredients and add to creamed mixture alternately with bananas.
    Pour into well-greased and floured pans.
    (I use Baker's Joy.)
    Bake in 4 small loaf pans at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
