Impressive Lemon Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 large egg whites
    1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
    1 c. sugar
    4 egg yolks
    1/2 c. sugar
    2 lemons, rind and juice
    1 pt. whipping cream
Preparation
    Beat egg whites and cream of tartar, adding sugar gradually. Nest into greased deep pie pan.
    Cook by either of 2 methods: Heat oven to 425\u00b0 and then turn off.
    Leave in overnight.
    Or bake 20 minutes at 275\u00b0, then 40 minutes at 300\u00b0.
    Cool.
