German Meat Loaf - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. ground beef or turkey
    1 to 2 shredded carrots
    chopped rib of celery
    1/2 large onion, chopped
    1 Tbsp. prepared mustard
    3/4 c. catsup
    2 eggs
    1/2 c. oatmeal
    2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. pepper
    3 to 4 strips bacon (optional)
Preparation
    Mix together in bowl.
    Bake in a loaf pan or round casserole dish for 1 hour at 350\u00b0.
    Place bacon strips (uncooked) on top of formed loaf before putting in oven if you so desire.
