3 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 1/2 c. butter
1 c. sugar
1 pkg. (3 oz.) Jell-O gelatin (any flavor)
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Mix flour with baking powder.
Cream butter; gradually add sugar and gelatin, beating well.
Beat in egg and vanilla. Gradually add flour mixture, mixing well.
Force dough through cookie press or form in 1-inch balls, then flatten to 1/2 inch with bottom of floured glass.
Place on ungreased baking sheets and bake at 350\u00b0 for 8 minutes or until edges are golden brown.
Makes about 10 dozen 1 to 1 1/2 inch cookies.
