Date Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 eggs
    1 pkg. pitted dates, finely cut
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. pecans
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. sifted flour
Preparation
    Beat eggs until light.
    Add sugar.
    Mix finely cut dates with flour and baking powder.
    Add vanilla.
    Mix all together and pour into greased and floured pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 until done.
    Do not overbake.
    Leave in pan until nearly cold and cut into bars.
